Mid-Century Modern Sale in Morrocroft Estates
Over this past year, I have had the pleasure of working with some very particular buyer clients. I’ve watched them go from a twosome to a family of three, with the addition of a handsome little boy born in April. Now, I’m excited to say that we were able to find them the family home of their dreams, which they closed on earlier this month.
The home is so amazing that I had to share it with all of you. It’s a gorgeous Frank Lloyd Wright inspired mid-century modern style home designed by local architect W. Stanley (Stan) Russell. The house gleams with limestone floors and rich mahogany wood throughout. It stands out amongst the mid-century modern homes in Charlotte so much so, that the North Carolina Modernist Group recently brought a tour through the home, and Stan Russell met my clients and the tour to chat about the history and design of the home.
The first time I walked through this house, I knew this house had that undeniable “something special” factor that would make my buyers fall in love with it. It’s one of the most intriguing houses I’ve helped buyers with, and I was honored to be included on their journey!
