Raffaldini

Take a trip to Tuscany minus the plane trip! Nestled near the Yadkin River and Blue Ridge Mountains, this vineyard is nothing less than stunning. With a gorgeous tasting room and plenty of outdoor seating (complete with fountain!), you’ll easily find a spot to settle in and enjoy the afternoon.

Burntshirt Vineyards

This beautiful vineyard with views of the Blue Ridge Mountains offers popular pours like Chardonnay, Melbec and Merlot and fun surprises like Villa Rosa and red and white blends. Food trucks are usually on site or you can pack your own picnic. The vineyard also has on-site accommodations to make your special occasion even more magical.

Veronét Vineyards & Winery

Hop on I-85 and in under 40 minutes (depending on traffic) you’ll be treated to a peaceful spot with a view of King’s Mountain. There is ample lawn and porch seating and fire pits that will invite you to stay a while. Complete the perfect afternoon with a meat and cheese plate.

Davesté Vineyards


This winery was established in 2004 and has accumulated a huge fan base along the way. It’s easy to see why with a rustic tasting room, open pavilion and cool water features. There is a lot to do here! Enjoy a weekend “date night”  with music or get fit with afternoon yoga and wine or a fitness class.

Roaring River Vineyards

Delicious wine by the river? Yes please. Both beer and wine aficionados will be happy here, with a good variety of both. Enjoy a wine tasting of seven different samples for $13 or try 10 for $18. Stay for lunch and a view of the river.
