Savvy 7 – Top Charlotte Bicycle Shops
Time to ditch those training wheels and hit the open road! Whether you are a daily commuter, a weekend trail hound, or a casual fan, riding a bike has many benefits. It’s healthy, you don’t have to worry about where to park, and it’s an easy way to explore your neighborhood – take the road less travelled!
In 2008, Charlotte adopted the City of Charlotte Bicycle Plan which set forth the framework for a bicycle friendly vision of our communities. The plan includes awareness initiatives, educational aspects for riders, as well as connecting and expanding the existing bicycle network in the city. Charlotte currently has a Bronze Medal for Bike Friendly Communities according to the League of American Bicyclists. Plans to increase that rating include expanding and developing the Rail Trail. If you want to talk shop with other passionate cyclists, stop by these bike shops around town, and you’ll learn all about riding in Charlotte. So check out these Savvy 7 – Charlotte Bicycle Shops
