Its that time of year again but this Festival in the Park is a little different from all the others . . . this September is the 50th anniversary since the first Festival in the Park in 1964!

Come join your neighbors enjoy food, music, art, and great times in Freedom Park, Charlotte, NC. There will be over 180 artists and almost 1,000 entertainers providing free entertainment at the main band shell and satellite stages throughout the park. It isn’t difficult to understand why the Southeast Tourism Society has ranked Festival in the Park as an upcoming Top 20 Event for this year.

Some of the organizations that will be represented at the event include Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools, Carolina Clowns Inc,Carolina Raptor Center, Children’s Theatre of Charlotte, and the Magician’s Stage.
